Microsoft office outlook 2016 search not working free download

This has been intermittently happening to me since I upgraded to Office via my subscription but the search functionality has always resumed working. Unfortunately since Monday of this week I’ve had no search capabilities and in this instance is seems to have no intention of returning.
One step 5 everything seemed to be re-indexed with the process taking maybe an hour to complete but I still cannot search for items or use the Find Related searches from within the right-click menu. I understand the issue is related to outlook side. As this forum focuses on some general discussion about Exchange. I suggest we can ask a question in Microsoft Outlook forum to get more help:.

I do not have access to the Exchange environment, as a last resort I can bring this up with my corporate IT team but I feel the issue is localized to me as no one else is reporting it. The Windows Search service is running. I took a look at the thread you suggested but didn’t find an obvious solution to my issue in it, it seems that in Windows 10 the indexing options screen functions a little differently and I am not able to expand Outlook and see the mailboxes under it.
I’ll go over the thread again just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Out of frustration, last night I did an online repair of my entire Office suite. When that completed I went Control Panel – Indexing Options and rebuilt my search index again, for the first time that took hours and in fact it may still be running.
Today if I try and search in Outlook I get the message “Search results might be incomplete because items are being indexed” so I guess I will leave things running and see if search capabilities come back. Additionally – I did just run scanpst against my ost file and it told me it had errors which it repaired – this is interesting because I made a whole new profile only yesterday but I guess I’ll wait for the indexing to complete and see where I am at.

Here’s what I’ve attempted in order to resolve: 1 Rebuild of the index File – Options – Search – Indexing Options – Advanced Options – Rebuild It tells me the index has completed after only a few seconds but still no search.
Does anyone have a suggestion on what I might try next. Friday, December 4, AM. Hi, I understand the issue is related to outlook side. Regards, David. Monday, December 7, AM.
